Description
I managed and assisted in the relocation of an automated machining cell from our Michigan Machine Shop to our Mexico Machine Shop in order to retain our customer. I gathered dimensions and modeled the existing layout. I adapted it to fit our Mexico facility. I then worked with our team in Mexico to get an approved layout. Then ordered the necessary fencing and an additional convey needed for the adaptation as well as monitored the progress and lead times in order to achieve our planned relocation date.
